ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Nylon Suture from Ethicon (a Johnson & Johnson company) is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture designed for skin closure and general soft tissue approximation. This product features a precision PS-3 reverse cutting needle for accurate and reliable wound closure.

The suture is made from synthetic polyamide 6 monofilament, offering high tensile strength with minimal tissue reaction. It is a 6-0 gauge black suture measuring 45 cm (18 inches), mounted on a 16 mm PS-3 Precision Point reverse cutting needle with a 3/8 circle curvature. The black colour enhances visibility during placement and removal.

Commonly used for skin closure in plastic and cosmetic procedures, as well as cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological applications where a non-absorbable suture is required. Supplied in a box of 24 sterile sutures.
